Summary: I began my IT career in the IT Operations group of a major global commodity trading and forex organisation in 1982 in Switzerland. Since then I have gained an extensive skill set, qualifications and expertise in many disciplines of Information Technology which has provided a high level of operational management experience in a technical service delivery environment working to stringent SLA’s and ITIL standards on large, complex £m-multi contracts seeing projects through the full life cycle. I have significant experience of managing customer and 3rd party relationships, a strong financial awareness having previously owned P&L and contract management and negotiation both within an employee environment and as the MD of a multi million pound IT service organisation. I have exceptional interpersonel skills and the ability to influence at all levels which include writing and the presentation of project documents to clients, stakeholders and team members. I have the drive, passion and a proactive approach with the energy and vision to drive projects forward whether it be in the domain of software development, infrastructure or account management. My goal is always to work with team members and stakeholders to meet the challenges of an ever changing business environment under pinned by present technology and future developments in IT. I am able to use my own initiative, and find working towards targets and deadlines both challenging and rewarding I speak five languages, English being my maternal language, the other four are French-(Fluent), German, Hebrew and Afrikaans.
